The boat was carrying on board 27 people, the boat sank near by Tofino on the Vancouver Island on Sunday. The emergency officials mentioned that 21 people had been rescued and one other still missing. No reports show where this person is. The boat, Leviathan 2 sent out a mayday call before eventually sinking about 8 miles (12km) west of Tofino. Sea conditions were reported to be calm at the time.
